Florida Community Support (FCS) is an organization dedicated to helping community organizations better serve their neighborhoods. More often than not, community groups are filled with desire but lack the resources for execution.

FCS assists your group with making connections, accessing government resources, organization, structure and ultimately completing projects that enhance your community.

FCS Founder Profile
Eric Yankwitt, Esq.

I have given back to our community in several different ways including sitting on the boards of many not-for-profit including President of the Congress of Racial Equality, SCORE (division of the SBA), President of the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce, Parenthood Coalition, South American Relief Fund, Treasurer of Broward Trust (Historical Society), the Treasurer of the Lauderhill Sister Cities Program) and several others.

My Law firm has also sponsored many community events including the Lauderhill back to school Health Fair, where over 800 families received book bags and immunizations for free. The Thanksgiving Holiday Orphan Meal (THOM). Over 2,500 people received a holiday meal and were welcomed to Broward County to help them build new friendships.

I currently give entrepreneurial and instructional classes on the use of QuickBooks, on starting your own business and financial literacy. I have been an instructor for the Florida Board of Realtors Hispanic Unity, the Urban League, and for Lormans Continuing Educational program (CLE for Accountants and Attorneys). I also give classes for senior citizens on subjects of estate planning, health care proxies, and how to prepare a will.

I have written several articles related to business, law and taxation for many different local publications. I have also participated on several radio programs featuring my business knowledge, tax and legal expertise.

However, I am most proud of my involvement with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and being a single parent.

Again, thank you for this opportunity to serve our community.

As a member of FCS you are taught skills, provided access to information and support from people who share your passion. The concept of some being stronger than one is reinforced by our "We Teach You" Program.

You will gain valuable skills like, organization, structure, planning, and promotion, which are all necessary for the good you strive to do.

The founding Member of FCS sits on the board of influential organizations throughout South Florida, has years of experience getting things done and has proven experience completing projects. He is dedicated to helping your group do the same.
